As “GotSoccer” transitions to their GotSport system, your “old” Gotsoccer login account will not work in the new “Gotsport” system.

To register to officiate in the new system as a referee, you will need to create a new account if you haven’t already done so.

  1. If you do not have a log in account for the new gotsport system, you can look at these instructions for creating an account (they are the same for referees):  https://gotsport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360057883313-How-to-Register-a-Team-as-a-Coach-or-Manager-to-a-League-
  2. Once you create your gotsport account or if you already have one, log out and register as a referee for the event: https://system.gotsport.com/programs/13S138585?reg_role=referee
  1. Once you register, you will receive an email from us within 48 hrs. asking you to accept the role of referee within the event. Please accept it and you will be all set.

We will post additional instructions on how to navigate the referee assignments you receive within the gotsport system in the weeks ahead.

As a separate note, all events will transition to this new system as the gotsoccer  system gets phased out. Organizations like NorCal and several tournaments are already switching to the new system. So your new account will allow you to register as a referee for any event that has transitioned to gotsport from this point forward. (But the old gotsoccer system will still be available as some organizations are still using it).

Currently, there are not sufficient instructions from gotsoccer to register referees as of February 17, 2022, so, as we transition the tournaments into the gotsport system, we will try to give you as much support and guidance as we can on how to use the system, either by directing you to gotsport’s support system if instructions are available, or by helping you navigate the system with the knowledge we acquire on the fly.

The new gotsport account log in will work for any other roles you may have in youth soccer within a league or club, coach, team manager, administrator, etc.

Jimmy Huyhn is the assignor for the event.
